There is a typo in P07 on hw.3, which is Engel-Reid problem P3.8. The question should be asking for V as a function of T [not P] and beta, which should likewise be assumed to be independent of temperature.

I hope that you continue this "blog"! P. Chem. encompasses such a broad range of chemistry, physics, and calculus tools (all combined) that I think it is initially overwhelming. However, it is an amazing feeling to realize that you can explain almost "everything" with mathetmatical equations.
I think the connections to outside references and other websites is particularly useful for seeing P. Chem. from a broader perspective.
And I enjoy reading your comments about what we should have learned in class. Laura B.
